Description

According to Southern tradition, figures with open arms often represent worshippers, and this glowing yellow figure with a halo like aura appears to be suffused with the spirit of worship and enlightenment. The being’s garment resembles the billowing robes worn by members of the clergy or of a gospel choir. In with incarnation, it it seems to sing the praises of religion. —Lauren Palmor
