Description

In the early '90s, a decision was made that Holley's art environment had to be demolished because of its proximity to a proposed expansion of the airport runway system. At first the City and Holley engaged in a serious but relatively tame repartee that consisted of little more than name-calling and nose-thumbing. Holley was cited to clean up the "health hazards" and "broken appliances" in his yard (such as The Fifth Child Burning and Dish of the Receiver).
