Description

Around 1967, Plummer T. Pettway made a "Crazy" quilt from old pants. Her stepdaughter Loretta admired and remembered the quilt, and a few years thereafter created this version from similar materials.

This is one of ten Gee's Bend quilts to appear on a U.S. postage stamp in 2006.
