"Star" variation

Leola Pettway put in some time at the Freedom Quilting Bee, and this "Star" is from those years. "I love to make a 'Star,'" she says simply. But appearances are deceiving in this quilt: what looks quite regular at first reveals numerous variations on closer inspection. The borders and corners are handled differently all around, as is the banding around the "Star's" points.
