Description

Face in a Box, fashioned from a sawdust-and-glue paste whose medium is a message about rejuvenation and resurrection. The wrinkled head has eggshells for eyes. The coffin-like "box" is a bureau drawer that implies inattention to the elderly, the dead, and the past, all of which we tuck away like old possessions not actually in use but also not quite worthless enough to discard entirely.
